Wordless Wednesday

It’s Wordless Wednesday! On these days, I take a break from writing and just let the photos do the talking instead.  I’ve had so many beautiful NuVal photos to choose from.  All of the NuVal supermarkets (there are over 1600 stores coast-to-coast) have been putting out some beautiful new banners, posters and ads to coincide with the New Year.  I caught this banner at my local Big Y.  Don’t you just love it?  Makes me crave a big salad for lunch.  How about you?  Tell me what you think.  The comment line is open!

Very nice…This week is “increase my produce week”. I bought and washed several kinds of lettuce. They are ready for me in my fridge. Also have been increasing spinach and kale.

I wish every store would carry NuVal scores! We do not have one in our town, so I rely on abetterbagofgroceries to help me make healthy choices for my family of 5. Our favorite trade-up is the Barilla pasta as well. Rather than having cookies after school my two teens still at home heat up the pasta for a healthy snack. We also have tried many of the slow cooker recipes…we love the Venus Soup and the Pepper Steak.

Makes me think of the kale chips we made last weekend.
