It’s Wordless Wednesday! On these days, I let a photo or graphic tell the story (and I get a break from writing a long blogpost).  This is an ad from the supermarket circular at Tops Friendly Markets in New York State.  There’s good seafood – and then there is better seafood.  That’s all I’ll say for now.  Instead, I’d love to hear your comments on today’s fishy post.  The comment line is now open for business!

    I’m buying salmon tonight!
My eye doctor recommended it for my dry eyes.

I’m sure no one eats lobster plain either….the butter, bread crumbs or sauce it’s covered in probably bring the score much lower. Salmon is the way to go!! A little olive oil and seasoning and it’s delicious!!

I’m curious if there’s a different NuVal score for wild salmon vs. farm-raised salmon. I can’t always afford to buy the more expensive wild salmon, but didn’t know if the claims were true about farm-raised being that much worse for you than wild salmon. Is there a difference in the NuVal scores?

NuVal is a great resource in areas like meat and snacks! Fruits and vegetables are known to be healthy, but meat scores all over the place.

Now I have another reason to love salmon!
